If your surgery is reconstructive or deemed medically necessary, it may be covered by insurance. When surgery is recommended by Dr. Meghan McGovern, a letter of prior authorization will be sent to your insurance company and approval must be obtained before surgery can be scheduled. A copy of your insurance card will be made at your initial office visit, and it is important to keep the office informed of any changes to your insurance.

Co-payments are due at the time of your initial office visit, and all surgical fees and deductibles are collected at your preoperative visit, which is usually one week prior to your surgery.
