Safe, Monitored Anesthesia Care
General anesthesia is given through an IV to reach the right depth of anesthesia and pain relief. At this level, you are deep enough asleep that both pain and awareness are blocked.
Continuous Monitoring
Your vital signs, blood oxygen levels, and expired carbon dioxide levels are watched closely throughout your procedure.
Recovery Room Care
When surgery is finished, you are brought to the recovery room, where nursing staff watch over you closely until it is safe to send you home.
Quick Recovery
How long recovery takes depends on the length of the surgery and the type of anesthetic used. Most patients can expect to recover in about one hour.
