Conformance Status

The Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) define requirements for designers and developers to improve accessibility for people with disabilities, at three levels: Level A, Level AA, and Level AAA.

myrenewalmd.com is substantially conformant with WCAG 2.1 Level AA. “Substantially conformant” means that most of the Level AA success criteria have been met, and verification of the remainder is in progress. Our most recent review, completed on October 1, 2026, tested 37 pages covering every page template against the WCAG 2.1 A and AA success criteria with the axe-core automated testing engine and found no violations. On the same pages we also ran automated checks of keyboard focus visibility, the skip-to-content link, reflow at a 320-pixel width and text enlarged to 200%. Automated tools cannot evaluate every success criterion, and testing with screen-reading software has not yet been carried out; we will update this statement when it has. Accessibility is an ongoing commitment: we re-test as we add pages and features, and if an issue is introduced we correct it promptly.

Known Limitations

The following areas depend on content or on providers outside our direct control. They do not represent unmet Level AA criteria, but we monitor them and offer the alternatives described below:

  • Third-party content and tools. Several features are supplied by outside providers — our online appointment scheduling, the Google Maps location maps, the YouTube video players used for patient and provider videos, and the secure card-entry field used at checkout. We do not control their code, but we choose accessible providers where possible and raise issues with them when we find barriers. The same information and assistance is always available from our staff by phone.
  • Before-and-after galleries. Result galleries are inherently visual and image descriptions are necessarily brief. Call either office and we will describe results, candidacy, and expected recovery in detail.

Compatibility With Browsers and Assistive Technology

myrenewalmd.com is designed to be compatible with current versions of major browsers — including Chrome, Safari, Firefox, and Edge — on desktop and mobile devices, used together with common assistive technologies such as screen readers, screen magnification, and voice recognition software. The site may not perform as expected in browsers or assistive technologies that are more than two major versions out of date.
