About this case
This patient came in with longstanding back, neck and shoulder pain. We performed a bilateral breast reduction, removing 397 grams from the left breast and 450 grams from the right. At four months post-op, she reports no back pain and says her clothing now fits the way she wants. Mild swelling remains along the sides of her chest, which typically continues to fade over the first year after surgery.
This is one patient's result and is not a promise of the result you would get. Anatomy, healing, age and how closely aftercare is followed all change the outcome. The most useful thing we can tell you about your own case is what Dr. McGovern says after looking at you in person.
