Reconstruction can happen right away, at the same time as mastectomy, or later, as its own procedure. Reaching the final result may take several stages, spread across 3 to 12 months.
Recovery
Recovery varies by technique. Most patients return to daily activities in 2-4 weeks per stage. Dr. McGovern's team supports you through every step.
